Our History

Holland Sports Athletics Club has been active for around 40 years, helping people of all ages explore the world of athletics, from disciplined training through to competitions and potential future success.

Funding

We are a not-for-profit organisation and rely largely on membership subscriptions and donations to keep the club going. Any revenue from sponsorships and advertising helps to fund membership price-caps, equipment and the ever increasing affiliation costs. Everyone engaged with the club through its management and coaching does so on a voluntary basis.

Assisted Technology

To facilitate our welfare & safeguarding, as well as assisted management of the club including membership subscriptions, we are a proud member of Trackchat. Our younger athletes love to sign-in and out (and hear their names read out) at track-side using the kiosk, running Trackchat - lovingly named "Kevin"

Community values

Our club is part of the community. We provide athletics training & competitions for the community and pride ourselves on that fact. Where we can physically and safely accommodate, our membership is open to each and everyone.

Training

We are limited by the number of coaches we have and bound by safeguarding guidelines, however we do attempt to offer a wide range of Track & Field, road & cross-country disciplines. Scheduled groups and sessions are published however ad-hoc & 1:1 sessions may be possible subject to discussions with coaches.

Share the success

Through the use of the club-based social network within Trackchat, we can now share successes amongst our club members, catch up on what is happening in other groups and across the club overall.
