Welfare & Safeguarding

Holland Sports Athletics Club takes the welfare of all its members extremely seriously.

The club has a responsibility to protect children, young people and vulnerable adults participating in athletics from harm, abuse and exploitation and to safeguard their wellbeing. This includes adopting and implementing consistent and robust safeguarding policies and procedures to report safeguarding concerns.

Our club adopts UK and England Athletics' Child and Adult Safeguarding Policies and Procedures.

Our current Club Welfare contact is Yee Masson, who can be contacted on: safeguarding@hollandsportsac.org.uk regarding any concerns. An online form can also be completed and submitted directly to the UK Athletics Safeguarding Team via the link on page 6 of the Child Safeguarding Procedures document below. Or you can email the team directly on safeguarding@uka.org.uk.

The safeguarding policies and procedures and how they are implemented can be found below. We ask everyone to read them.

We also ask that all our members, officials and officers agree to abide by the relevant codes of conduct. By joining our club and/or being involved as a coach, volunteer, officer, official etc you are agreeing to follow the Club's policies and adhere to the codes of conduct.
